A repair company that finishes the job

Merican LLC is a Carrollton-based handyman and home improvement company working across North Dallas and the mid-cities. The company was founded in 2017, but the trade goes back more than fifteen years — long enough to have seen most of what an older Texas house can do to itself.

The work runs from the ordinary to the substantial: a running toilet, a door that's dropped out of square, a hallway of drywall damage after a move, a kitchen taken back to the studs. Painting, flooring, framing, fixtures, appliances, gutters and full remodels are all in-house, which means one crew, one number to call, and no waiting on a second contractor to show up before the first one can finish.

That matters more than it sounds. Most repairs cross trades. Mounting a television is an electrical and a drywall job. Replacing a dishwasher is plumbing and carpentry. When one company handles all of it, the seams disappear — and so does the week you'd otherwise spend coordinating people.
